David Durkin - Partner

Mr. Durkin was one of the founding partners of Avista Capital Partners in 2005. Prior to joining Avista, Mr. Durkin was a Partner of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners. Mr. Durkin was at DLJ Investment Banking from 1996 to 2000 and DLJMB from 2000 to 2005. He led and/or was instrumental in a number of key investments while at DLJ/DLJMB in energy, healthcare and media, including Arcade, Merrill, MGM, Michael Petroleum, Pharmaceutical Fine Chemicals, Prometheus Laboratories, Seabulk International and Shoppers Drug Mart. Prior to joining DLJ, Mr. Durkin worked as a public accountant for Arthur Andersen where he achieved the designation of CPA. He graduated from Stanford University in 1991 and received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School in 1996.
